지난 18일 서울 양재동 엘타워에서 열린 '자기지속적인 블록체인 국제 컨퍼런스 2018(Self-Sustainable Blockchain International Conference Fall 2018)'이 성료했다.

컨퍼런스를 주관한 딜라이트체인은 ‘선한 의지의 블록체인-에코버스’를 개발 중인 블록체인 플랫폼으로 대표 이영환 박사는 핀테크와 블록체인 전문가로 저명한 인물이다.

이번 행사는 블록체인 분야의 새로운 이슈로 떠오르고 있는 ‘자기지속성(Self-Sustainability)’을 주제로 인도 VJTI 뭄바이 대학교 총장인 대렌 R. 파텔(Dhiren R. Patel) 교수, 월드뱅크 보안 아키텍처 윌리엄 장 디렉터, 고려대학교 암호화화폐연구센터 센터장 김형중 교수, 딜라이트체인 대표 이영환 박사 등 다양한 분야의 전문가들이 강연자로 참가했다.

윌리엄 장 디렉터는 “디지털 지갑과 분산 ID가 결합해 새로운 앵커의 역할을 할 것이며 사용자 중심의 자산과 관계를 관리할 수 있는 블록체인 기술이 요구된다”고 역설했다.
