아이콘루프, 과기정통부 장관상 수상... "

아이콘루프(대표 김종협)가 국내 블록체인 산업 발전 및 대중화에 기여한 공로를 인정받아 블록체인 업계에서 과학기술정보통신부 장관상을 수상한 첫번째 프로젝트가 됬다고 밝혔다.  


아이콘루프는, 2016년 5월 설립 이래 현재까지 국내 대표 블록체인 전문 플랫폼이다.

전 세계 다양한 블록체인 커뮤니티를 연결하기 위한 ‘인터체인’ 프로젝트인 아이콘(ICON) 프로젝트를 진행 중에 있다. 

김종협 아이콘루프 대표는 “그간 블록체인의 산업적 가능성을 국내에 알리기 위해 지속해 온 노력이 좋은 결과로 이어져 기쁘다”고 소감을 전하며, “향후에도 아이콘루프는 국내외 다양한 분야에 블록체인을 적용할 수 있도록 기술 및 비즈니스 개발에 힘쓰는 한편, 대한민국의 블록체인 기술을 전 세계적으로 알릴 수 있는 활동 또한 계속할 것”이라 덧붙였다.
